home page not loading

I customized the Moto site in a directory " /new ".

But When I moved the site to the root and entered the URL (http://uswoundedsoldiers.com/)  I get the following:

'This is a technical file included in your template package for security reasons.

Please refer to technical documentation for the correct path to your template index file.'

Which is the default index.html. I can go to the site through http://uswoundedsoldiers.com/index.php but then get a 404 but wrapped in the moto page. If I click on the home button I can finally get to the home page.

So how do I set it to the right home page URL?
