Is there still a possibilty to give a specific url to download a file?

Hi

Sometimes I use my server to give some people the possibility to download a file. For example: www.mydomain.com/myfiles/some_name.pdf now the browser always shows www.mydomain.com/#/myfiles/some_name.pdf and than the home-site. Is there a way to go around this?

Hello Christian,

If http://www.mydomain.com/myfiles/some_name.pdf file exists on your server, the system will not capture this request and will allow user to download the file. The CMS only captures requests to non-existing files.

Please make sure you provide correct URL to download. URLs are case-sensitive so please make sure to check paths and case in the URL.
