Rename a file in the Media Folder

Hi, I've got a few images that are meant for download by the user. I'd really like to be able to change the names of the images in the media folder so that when they download them it is already named. Is this possible? Thank you.

Hello Seth,

You can change the name of image using online image editor. In order to launch it you should go to your Media Library, select an image and click on pencil icon under image you selected. You'll see image editor with basic properties to the right. Find here Name and Metadata and change the re-name image.

Hi Matthew, I'm not totally sure you've understood the goal.

I went where you told me to go (good to learn none the less) and the name shows, "FB COVER AMAR QUEMAR.jpg."

Now when I am in the actual site and I click on the media (right click > save picture as) it gets named, "53079932b3744," I'd like for it to save as, "FB COVER AMAR QUEMAR.jpg" is that possible?

Hello Seth,

I guess it was renamed by our system due to spaces between words within image name. Please try to put underscore _  between words to make it FB_COVER_AMAR_QUEMAR.jpg
