Control Panel Activation

I have 2 problems, firstly I can't log in, I am taken directly to a Control Panel Activation screen, then when I hit activate I get taken to a screen to log in. I tried logging in but it would not recognise my email and password, so when I try and reset my password (in case that is the problem) it says User Not Found. I have tried all our email addresses in case i'm not using the correct one.

Secondly, I have spoken to our web host and the IP address listed on the Control Panel Activation screen is incorrect (could this be the overall problem causing the log in problems?).
