Categories are managed in the store settings in the Categories section:
The Store Homepage is a system category that includes all products without an assigned category. Products not placed in any specific category will automatically appear on your store's homepage.
To set up a new category, select Add Category:
Input a name and description for your category, select a parent category, upload a photo and click Save:
Hovering over three dots allows you to edit, delete, move a category and add a subcategory for it:
Please note that if you delete the main category parent, all subcategories will be deleted as well and you will not be able to use them for a new category or apply them to others.
To add a product to a category, you need to access the editing mode of each product. To do this, go to the Products tab and click on the three dots next to the desired product and click Edit:
