In your online store, clicking the Buy/Order button will instantly add the product to the shopping cart. To access it, customers just need to click on the cart icon, which opens a pop-up form for entering their contact details:
The shopping cart comes with default fields such as name, phone, and email. To add more fields, follow the steps outlined below:
- Access your site settings, go to your store settings, and select the Shopping Cart tab.
- Here, you can set a minimum order amount.
- To customize the default fields, click Edit.
- In the pop-up, select the field type, input your text, choose whether it is required, and click Save. Field options include short text, name, email, phone, comment, or long text. Short and long text fields are flexible and can be used for various needs, like capturing an address or specifying product size.
- To add new fields, click Add Field and to remove a field, click Delete beside it.
- You can also activate the payment method from this section.
Design of the Shopping cart
To modify the design of the shopping cart, navigate to Pages and Popups, then go to the Store tab, and click the gear icon to open the settings:
Choose the shopping cart's width: small, medium, or large. Alternatively, you can expand the shopping cart to full screen, giving it the appearance of a page instead of a popup.
