Store settings

There are general online store settings on Moto4. These settings allow you to control various aspects such as page visibility in search results, data display format, currency, notifications, and more. This article provides guidance on how to modify these settings across your entire online store.

 

General settings

1. Access your site settings and navigate to the Settings tab within the Your Store section:

2. Within the General tab, you have the option to modify the visibility of your store pages in search engines. This allows you to choose whether to hide or allow indexing for these pages. This setting applies to product pages, categories, and the store homepage, but it does not impact regular website pages.

3. You have the ability to configure product pagination and establish the global sorting order for products across category pages, the store homepage, and various storefront blocks:

Global sorting refers to the predetermined order in which products are displayed to buyers on store pages based on the settings you've selected. Currently, site visitors do not have the ability to sort products themselves, but they can adjust the pagination as per your configuration.

 

4. You can activate enhanced ecommerce for specific services listed below:

Data display
1. Navigate to the Data Display tab to designate the currency for your store and determine the format for displaying prices:

Aside from altering the currency and price display format, you have the option to conceal trailing zeros in the fractional part of the price. These adjustments apply universally to all store pages and the storefront block.
2. To modify the currency display format for product cards, input the desired text into the Prefix and Suffix fields.

3. You have the option to input your own text to showcase the four potential product availability statuses:

Product card settings
1. Navigate to the Product Appearance tab to adjust the automatic opening of a cart after adding a product on the store homepage, category pages, and in the storefront block:

2. You also have the option to personalize the ribbon display for products, including its type and position:

Notifications

You can opt to receive store notifications via emails, messages in messengers, or through webhooks.

Deleting a store

Within the "Delete Store" tab, you have the option to permanently erase all content from your online store. This action cannot be undone, and it will remove all store pages, products, categories, and related elements from your site. If you choose to proceed, you'll need to confirm by entering the word "delete" in the designated field:

After deletion, you can reconnect the store, but you'll need to rebuild it from the beginning.
