MotoCMS 3 Pages - General Information

"Pages" section is located within the navigation menu of your site’s Control Panel

New Page. In order to create new page please click on the "Add Page" button.

In case the "Add Page" button is not shown and you're unable to add new pages, you don't see the "Blog" tab in your admin panel and you're sure you purchased a MotoCMS Landing page template, you can have it converted into a full-featured website. This will let you add new pages to your site and use our Blog plugin which is available for all MotoCMS 3 templates. You can get Full featured website offer by following this link.

"Page’s Name" and "URL" must be specified within the provided sections.

You can enter any page from the drop-down list, using the page’s title.

If you wish to duplicate selected page, please click "Duplicate" button.

If you wish to delete the selected page, please click "Delete" button (please be informed that Home page can't be removed).

You can sort your pages using three methods: 1) "Creation Date"; 2) "Last Modified Date"; 3) "Alphabet".

"Search" - this feature allows you to find necessary pages.

You need to type the page's title within the search field and system will show all similar results in the area below the field.

You can apply a Home page status for any page (except the Home page itself), duplicate or remove page using appropriate buttons.

!Important! If you wish to access the editing area of your page - choose necessary page from the list and click on the page's content.

Once it's done - you will be able to preview Blocks/Widgets tabs (depends on the template's type) on the left side of the page.

Duplicate widget

You can use "Duplicate widget" feature to create a copy of your widget on the page.

"Duplicate widget" feature will automatically create a copy of your widget under selected widget.

Copy/Paste widget

This feature allows you to copy and paste separate objects or entire row/container widgets with content on any page of your site.

You need to copy object once and then you can paste it on the page unlimited amount of times. By default system will paste object under the copied object. If you wish to place object in some specific place - you can choose required object, use "Paste" button and copy of your widget will appear under requested object. Then you can relocate it to any position on the page (depending on the current section).

If you need to copy object on other page - you need to copy it first, then enter required page, choose necessary section and press "Paste" feature. System will add object to the very bottom of the selected section.

!Important! Please be informed that some widgets (for example, Post List in Blog) can't be added twice into the same section and some widgets can't be added on other pages if they are bound to specific page's template (for example, you can't copy "Author" widget from "Post" template to "Main Page" template within the Blog). In this case if you try to copy Row/Container widgets with content (including the widgets, which can't be used on the other pages) - system will copy Row/Container widgets with all content except the widgets, which can't be used on other pages (there will be empty space in the location of mentioned widget).

You can set any page as a “Home” page. Please choose necessary page from the list and click "Set as Home" button.
