The Preferences section allows you to change options of your website and the control panel. You will have an access to the Media Library and Font Manager from the section as well.
1. Website Preferences
The “Website Preferences” section allows you to change the “Website Settings” and “SEO Optimization” options, set the web site to “Under Construction” mode and set the password protection on your web site pages. In the “Website Settings” you may point out the title of your website, which is used as a prefix for the page titles. If your website title is “My website-”, then your “News” page title will be displayed as “My Website – News”. If you want the page titles to display without prefixes, just leave this field blank. Also you can set web site’s width and web site's heights, change or delete page/web site’s preloaders and set your web site’s favicon.
1. With help of the setting “Select the home page” you can set which page of the website will be opened first. This page will be displayed as the first every time when visitors are opening your website.
2. Web site background style. In this section you are able to set background image for your web site. This image will be background for all your web site’s pages.
3. Page Transitions. In this section you can edit transitions effects.
4. In the “Background Gallery Style” section you are able to edit your background gallery widget. You can change the background Gallery controls area, controls area hover, preloader, etc.
5. “Lightbox Style” - in this section you may adjust your lightbox settings (such as: the lightbox background color, image scaling mode, transition effect, lightbox controls style, etc.)
6. In order to redirect visitors who entered your web site using mobile devices, you should enable “redirect mobile devices to alternate version of site” to you web site mobile version.
Also you can reset your mobile web site – this function allows you to reset your mobile web site to default primary view in case you would like to recreate it.
2. SEO & Analytics
In the “SEO & Analytics” section you may activate Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools for your website.
Also, you can generate the sitemap.xml file by pressing the button “Generate Sitemap”.
To activate Google Analytics, you should select the following option and enter your account information. If you haven't had your Google Analytics account yet, you can create it by clicking the “Create New Account” link. Upon your account activation you will see your website statistics and traffic from the Google Analytics control panel. “Google Webmaster Tools” is another useful feature for website analytics and SEO. To take all the advantages of this feature, you should have a Google Webmaster Tools account that will help you to appreciate the “Meta Tag” and “File Name” fields. If you haven't had your Google Webmaster Tool account yet, you can create it by clicking the “Create New Account” link.
3. Under Construction
You can set your website to under construction mode so nobody else can see it while you're working on it. For this you should click on the tab 'UNDER CONSTRUCTION' and turn it on. There you can select the theme and enter your message for visitors.
Also you can preview the result of your Under Construction Page.
4. Password protect
You can protect some of the pages with password. Here you can customize login box and set the password so your visitors will need to enter it, in order to see the protected pages.

5. Control Panel Preferences
The “Control Panel Preferences” section consists of three subsections: “Advanced Settings”, “Password” and “Backup & Updates”.
The “Advanced Settings” section allows you to select the language of the interface and choose whether to show the “Greetings” on the start up or not. You may also enable the “Check for updates” function while running the application.
“View website in the same preview window” this function allows users to start the site from the last page they were editing by pressing the “Preview Website” button.
While when the “View website from the start page” is selected, the “Preview Website” button will open the start page.
Please Note: When both “View website in the same preview window” and “View website from the start page” are selected “Preview Website” button will open the start page.
In the “Password” section you can change your current password that is used for entering your Control Panel to a new one.
7. Backup & Updates
In the “Backup & Updates” section you can search for the system updates: just click on the button “Check for updates”, or create the backup of your sites content by clicking on the button “Create Backup”.

8. Media Library
The “Media Library” button allows you to manage all the media files used on your website. With the help of the filter placed on the top panel, you can view all the images, animations, video and audio files that have been downloaded.
In order to upload some new files and use them on your website, please click on the button “Add Media” in the top left corner.
Please note: Moto CMS does not limit the max size of uploaded files and limit “Maximum upload file size” is enforced by your hosting or server configuration. Such settings can be changed easily.
Please contact your hosting provider to allow lager file sizes to be uploaded to your Media Library.
You can also change the size of the icons while viewing the elements of your Media Library. Please use the slider in the right lower corner of your Media Library for this.
You may upload files to the library one by one, or you can choose several files at once by your choice. In order to delete the element from the Library, please click the “x” icon next to the element you want to remove. The selected element will be removed after confirmation.
Also you can remove several media library items by selecting them and pressing the “Remove Selected Items” button in the bottom left corner.
9. Image Editor
In order to enter “image editor” you should press “view/edit item” button.
The Image editor has the left and the right panels. Buttons that are shown on the left panel will open functions properties on the right side.
The Navigator function allows users to change the image scale by moving “Zoom” slider, or by editing the scale in percent value, or by pressing buttons “Fit” ”1:1” ”2:1”.
The Rotate function has Flip buttons (HORISINTAL and VERTICAL) that can flip the image, Rotate buttons (LEFT and RIGHT) and the Angle bar, where the exact angle of rotation can be set.
The Transform function allows users to re-size the image. User can use the custom size of the image or use the CROP button to crop the desired part.
Using the Adjust Color function, you can adjust Hue, Saturation and Color balance by dragging the sliders or inputting custom value.
The Brightness and Contrast function has sliders to adjust Brightness and Contrast of the image.
The Effects function allows user to add effects (Grayscale, Negative, Sepia, Sharpness, Blur, Colorize) to the image.
The Name and Metadata section is used to change/add image Name, Title, Alt and Tags.
In the History section all changes that were done with the image are shown. User can return to any history item.
In the Library section other images from Media Library are shown.
10. Fonts Manager
In this section you can check available fonts and add new font from list of available fonts.
In order to add new font you should click on “add font” button:
And then choose the font you'd like to add from the list of available fonts.
